On Thursday March 12th at approximately 11:30am 28-1 was requested to a home on Harness Lane for a reported structure fire. First arriving patrol officers reported a heavy smoke condition from the garage area and a working fire. The general alarm was requested to bring help from 28-2 and 28-3. Our engine crew led by Captain Stattel took the hydrant and made a fast stop to save the house.
